What’s up Beijing!! We have officially completed two months of pre-production! We’ve made insane progress so far, especially given that we came up with an idea for this game two months ago. We are currently diligently working towards our first prototype. If all goes to plan, we shall have our first prototype by the next devlog!

Art production has been a little slower than before since we have entered 3D modeling stage and there has been huge changes to environment. But progress is still being made nevertheless! Blockout models for 3 characters have been completed.

We also started to play around with the visual style, and created this cool stained glass rendering demo in Unity!

Design

Hola pooks, Design got to drafting hella skill tree stuffs. We have a Searphim Skill Tree drafted, a general skill tree for most of the classes, and a new big ol spreadsheet for better communication with programming!! We also have got another story document working, that will be moved into our new World wiki that will be on Notion!! That will be our new home for a lot of story stuff for others all to see! We’re continuing down on finishing our drafts and moving forward with our World wiki!

Hihihi pookies UI has been cooking up some sexy stuff~ We have had our second lovechild, now with art 🤩

We’ve decided on a visual style for the UI: iss!

Clean, techno, and legible with layered geometric shapes. But also potential for cool interactions to add some stylization 🎨

For which we brainstormed cool ideas for through some moodboarding 🧐

Now, we’re going to use this settled style to move into low-fidelity wireframing, going through as many iterations as possible on each of the homebase screens. By next week, we should have the basic layout for each screen and can move into formatting it in Figma 😌
